Praise and Thanksgiving.

I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart.
I will enter His courts with praise.
This is the day that the Lord has made.
I will rejoice for He has made me glad.

Indian Summer

In today's politically correct world, I should probably look for another word to describe today.  Sunny, mid 70's - and it's November.  I was blessed to ride 135 miles today through SW Indiana and western Kentucky.  Roads I've ridden before, and some I haven't.  It was a little surreal.  For the most part, it looked like winter.  Trees bare, or at best brown.  The colors of recent rides probably made the scene look more drab than it should, but I've seldom ridden in more pleasant conditions.  I only missed having someone along to share the time with.

Last ride for the year?

I rode about 65 miles again today.  Down into Kentucky - mostly on the 4's (the highways with four numbers - indicative of small roads, but so far they have always led somewhere).  Colors have peaked and are moving into various shades of brown.  Temperatures are cooler - in the 50's today, but lots of sun.  May be the last ride for the season, and it was nice.  Willy Nelson on the MP3, and little if any traffic.  God is good.
